I first came across the Leamy Foundation when I attended one of their Learn and Grow family sessions at Auchnacraig ELCC.

Auchnacraig ELCC did not have a Parents Council prior to our activities. Parents came to our first session and over months, up to 10 Parents regularly attended sessions. Eventually parents set up the Muddy fingers group using 'WhatsApp' to co-ordinate activities.
'Positive changes'
Several parents have felt empowered to make positive changes such as
'Recognition'
The Muddy fingers parents’ group was recognised for its efforts and was awarded 2nd Price at the WDC ‘Amazing things’ awards.
'I have got to know so many more people doing something I enjoy. I have visited wooded areas, planted bulbs and grown veg, all are new things for me and my child.' | Anna- Parent
